One of the most important decisions any business owner makes is planning for the future – future growth, future projects, and future leadership.

 

I am delighted to announce a change that brings new energy, a change that should be celebrated as

Kraig Magas, AIA, is named full partner in the company. Effective October 30, 2023, Don Duffy Architecture is now Duffy-Magas + Associates, PLLC.

 

Kraig has been intricately involved in the overall operations of the company for many years and has proven to be an invaluable asset and colleague for more than two decades. He is very talented, dedicated, and more than capable of leading and safeguarding our tradition of excellence for generations to come. I have enjoyed 27 years enthroned at the sharp point of the pyramid and I am ecstatic to share the point with someone like Kraig.

 

As for me? Laura has put up with my passion for 45 years. One day when I was not my perky self, she told me to go do something fun for myself. So, I did. I came to the office. I love our clients and love our work. My plan is to continue working at Duffy-Magas + Associates for many years to come. Although I may have faint visions for the design of my “Gone Fishing” sign, it will be a while before it progresses to the schematic phase and quite sometime before I’m ready to hang my sign.  The trout can wait.

 

Although our name has changed, Duffy-Magas + Associates will continue providing the same exceptional level of architectural and design services. Our sincere appreciation of the support and the trust you place in us will always remain unchanged.
